For those of you who have been paying attention to our social media recently, our announcement of parts from Axiom Supply Co. has certainly stirred the proverbial pot. We were fortunate to have some of the first parts available for testing and can answer some of the big questions you may have: who they are, what they produce, and whether it is actually any better than what is currently on the market.
A manufacturer is only as good as the product they produce and the associated warranty. Seeking to bridge the gap between 'may last a week but affordable' and 'I'm taking out a second mortgage for a product that I will have to replace at some point anyway, ' Axiom's products are competitively priced relative to their direct competition and far surpass dealership prices. I've said it many times, and I will continue to do so; trucks, especially diesels, are a pay-to-play game- if it's cheap, it's probably not good, and if it's good, it's probably not cheap.
While it's still too early to see how Axiom's products hold up long-term under extreme conditions, everything I've seen and experienced so far leads me to believe they're going to be the best products on the market. All hardware and additional parts included are high-quality, and the installation is a breeze.
While several companies claim to offer a "lifetime warranty," they do not always back it. Having spoken at length with the manufacturer, who was very specific about the warranty conditions, I have been assured that all parts are guaranteed, no questions asked. Although I don't plan to have any units come back, I have told everyone who has already purchased Axiom products from me that I will directly exchange and install whatever breaks, as I am entirely confident in Axiom's products and the terms of their warranty.
With more products being announced weekly, Axiom currently produces hubs, leveling kits, CV axles, jounce bumpers, sway bar end links, upper control arms, and hardware associated with all of the above for Ford, Ram, and GM HD trucks, with 1500, Bronco, and SXS parts being announced shortly. We'll list all the products we like on our website under their respective categories.
So far, we have had the opportunity to test early Super Duty and 01-07 2500HD 4x4 hubs, 01-10 GM 2500/3500 jounce bumpers, and 01-10 GM 2500/3500 CV axles, all of which are a noticeable upgrade over OEM components. We'll highlight all the features of each product we've tried so far in upcoming blog posts.
