The AirDog operates by pulling fuel from the fuel tank, which contains entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminants, and unknown quantities of moisture. The fuel then reaches the fuel pump with only entrained air/vapor and minute contaminants remaining. The residual particle contaminants are captured and trapped while the fuel flows through the fuel filter under positive pressure.
